Business Help!!
Hello Everyone!
I’m calling for any and all help to get a business proposal together for a bakery. It’s a major dream of mine and a lady I work with (one of the few friends I have here) says if I can get the proposal together she can get me the backing.
I don’t know if it will really happen, but I need help to get the concept/idea/business plan together just in case.
When given the opportunity to have a dream fulfilled, it’s hard not to go for it.

Revenge of the turkey!
Well…the week after Thanksgiving started with a bang! Dad went into the hospital on Monday with chest pains and had bi-pass surgery on Tuesday! He ended up not having had a heart attack, but because the doctor took the time to check him over really well they found he had several arteries with severe blockages. He ended up having a quintuple (that’s 5) bi-pass. They wanted to do 6, but one of them was so damaged the bi-pass wouldn’t have done any good.
So, my mother, my sister and I have been taking shifts at the hospital. I’ve spent more time at the hospital this past week than I have in my own house! It’s important that we have someone there, though. Dad’s not one to bother other people and he’d just sit there uncomfortable or in pain or thirsty. We’re there to be sure he gets what he needs!
They’re telling us he should go home today, but… it’s already 3:30 and his regular doctor hasn’t been in to see him! Everyone else has cleared him to go home: the surgeon, the physical therapist, the cardiologist. All we need is the regular doctor to bother to come by and write up his release papers! Sigh. He wants to go home! Grr.
At least he’s feeling better. That’s the important thing.

Still no baby…
Well, for those of you who may be wondering, no…we’re not pregnant yet. Still trying, but nothing yet. Hoping for October to be our month! I know we haven’t been trying that long, but once you’re ready, it’s like, “come on already!” I mean I’m already 32… The longer it takes and the older I get the more danger of health issues with the baby. I’m actually kinda hoping for a multiple birth just so I won’t have to be pregnant as many times. Get it done with while I’m as young as I can manage! I want 3 and BJ wants 2… we’ll have that discussion once we have the second one out of diapers. I have a while to wear him down on that one, heh!
I’ll keep everyone posted on the baby front and let ya know as soon as we know!

New stuff, new stuff…
Well…i’ve started yet another blog! I also have a “baking” blog. I love to bake and so some friends and I get together once a week and try out a new recipe. I’ve also joined a blogging “club” called Daring Bakers! This is a LARGE group of people who also like to bake. Once per month a chosen member issues a baking challenge and everyone who is a member gives it a try and publishes on the same day! The recipes vary from simple to *really* complicated. Been a long time!
It has been quite a while since I posted last. Did you miss me? Well things have perked up in the job department. I’m teaching PE! I taught PE a few years ago and it was lots of fun. It also helps me get in shape, which is a big plus! The students and faculty have been super nice, and I’m looking forward to a great year! Yay!

Still waiting…
Well… I had an interview on Friday, but…. they still haven’t made a decision and they are still interviewing people… don’t know if I’ll end up getting it or not. It’s for an overflow class in either 2nd or 4th grade. I’ve taught 2nd and I did my student teaching in 4th grade, but I’ve been told by people in public school that I might be too “expensive” since I have my master’s degree and 4 years experience… So unfair. So they may end up hiring someone less qualified because they won’t have to pay them as much. sigh… We’ll see…

I might have an Interview!
Woohoo! Might have an interview tomorrow! I had a message on my answering machine today, asking if I would be interested in interviewing for an Elementary position! Of course, I didn’t get the message until they were already gone for the day! darnit! But hopefully, I’ll get another call tomorrow… I called them back and left a message saying I was definitely interested, so we’ll see! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
